Anushka Sharma Is All Set To Make Her Cannes Debut And Honor Women In Cinema With Kate Winslet

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma will travel to French Riviera later this month. The actress is all set to make her debut at Cannes, where she will also participate in a celebration of women in film. She is going to honor women in cinema alongside Kate Winslet. Anushka`s presence at the event was confirmed by the French ambassador to India, Emmanuel Lenain. He pleaded to have met the actress and her husband, Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, ahead of their trip.

The French ambassador wrote on Twitter, "A pleasure meeting @imVkohli and @AnushkaSharma! I wished Virat & #TeamIndia all the best for the upcoming tournaments, and discussed Anushka`s trip to #CannesFilmFestival." He even dropped a picture with the famous couple in which the ambassador opted for a light brown suit, meanwhile, Virat Kohli looks dashing in a brown polo shirt and black pants. Anushka Sharma chose to wear a blue shirt with black pants. Have a look!

The 76th edition of the film festival will start from May 16 to May 27, 2023. Earlier, renowned actors including Sharmila Tagore, Aishwarya Rai, Vidya Balan, and Deepika Padukone have served on the jury for the prestigious French Festival.
