Anurag Kashyap denies any connection with Epstein Files
Anurag Kashyap has found himself in a chaos of controversies yet again. The filmmaker was mentioned in the s of the infamous Epstein Files after he was named as `The Bollywood Guy`.
His name came up in the s after a correspondence of emails was released, linked to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
On January 30, the US Department of Justice released over three million s, revealing shocking emails and correspondence involving a wide range of prominent names involved in the sex scandal.
Now, Anurag Kashyap has finally broken silence on being linked with Epstein. He denied any connections and wasn`t specifically aware of being invited as a speaker at an event in Beijing in 2017.

The filmmaker said, “I’ve no clue about this. I get invitations as a speaker, about 15 a month. I rarely respond. Also, I have never been to Beijing in my life!”
He went on to add that the s released don`t make sense and aren`t convincing at all. “It’s some random email; that’s self-explanatory. The clickbait in my name is more popular than my films,” he added.
How was Anurag Kashyap linked to the Epstein Files?
According to reports, the Gangs Of Wasseypur filmmaker was named as `The Bollywood Guy` and `A famous Bollywood director` in the email exchanges between Jeffrey Epstein and individuals like Giuseppe Bersani, Gino Yu, and Ornella Corazza.
The email exchanges reportedly discussed Epstein`s plans to travel to Cuba and other locations, in which Kashyap was mentioned as one of the guests who would be attending workshops on Buddhism, technology, and medicine.
Even though Anurag`s name is mentioned in the s, there is no concrete evidence of his involvement in the horrifying scandal or any of Epstein`s criminal activities.
Anurag Kashyap`s statement has put all speculations around his connection to the Epstein Files to rest.
