Tripti Dimri has turned out to be an internet sensation after the release of Animal. Everyone is calling her the national crush, and her Instagram following rose from over 600,000 before the film's release to 2.5 million in the days that followed. Everyone is loving her portrayal of the valignant character of Zoya and calling her chemistry with Ranbir Kapoor perfect.

Now, the actor has revealed the brief she received for the role. She was asked recently about the moment when her character fell in love with the character of Ranbir Kapoor. To this, she replied, "There was no point as such. When we were discussing at what exact point she falls in love, there was nothing specific in anyone's mind."

Trpti's character Zoya comes into the life of Ranbir Kapoor's Ranvijay, and he falls in love with her. He makes her stay at a family mansion and goes to meet her often. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga told her that her character shows negative traits and has hidden motives. However, with that in mind, he wanted her to express love through her face when she was with Ranvjay.

She further added, "We tried really hard to make sure that, you know, that came through. And, for me, I don't think there was a particular point where she fell for him. I think she just sees how good he is. And she sees the good side of him."

Tripti said that she was committed to taking the director's vision into consideration as she works on any film. Amidst all the criticism that the film has received, she defended director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his ideas.

Before Animal, Tripti was a part of some experimental films like Bulbbul and Qala, where her performances received a lot of praise.

Animal also stars Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Suresh Oberoi, Shakti Kapoor, and Prem Chopra in important roles. The film has been doing extremely well at the box office and has earned more than Rs. 500 crore in just 10 days of its release.

Animal was released on December 1 and clashed at the box office with Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal.
