Mirzapur, the blockbuster series from Amazon Prime Video, is set to make an ambitious leap from small screens to theatres as a full-length feature film. Since its launch, Mirzapur has become one of India`s most iconic OTT series, captivating millions with its intense storyline and gritty characters.
Excel Entertainment, which produced the series, has partnered with Prime Video to bring the project to life in theatres before it becomes available on the streaming platform.
Fans of the original series will be delighted to know that Mirzapur film will feature the return of some of their favourite characters. Leading the cast are Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as the revenge-driven Guddu Pandit, and Divyenndu as Munna Tripathi. The talented Abhishek Banerjee will also return to add more depth and complexity to this gritty world.

The film is created by Puneet Krishna, with Gurmmeet Singh returning to direct, promising fans the authentic tone and intensity they have come to expect from Mirzapur. Following an eight-week run in theaters, the film will be available for streaming on Prime Video, making it accessible to a wider audience.
