After a four-year hiatus, the wait is finally over! Netflix`s global zombie phenomenon, All of Us Are Dead, is officially back in production for its highly anticipated second season. Fans who devoured the first season in 2022, contributing to its massive 560 million viewing hours within its first month, can now breathe a sigh of relief as the zombie K-drama gears up for its return with an expanded storyline and fresh faces.
This time, On Jo finds herself without her familiar support system, forced to navigate the new apocalypse on her own until she encounters a new group of resourceful university seniors. This fresh crew, unlike the initial high schoolers, appears to have already figured out strategies for survival, promising a dynamic shift in the plot. Adding another layer of intrigue, Han Du Seok (Roh Jae Won) emerges as a National Intelligence Service team leader, a character shrouded in mystery who might pose a new kind of threat.
