Alia Bhatt, Sharvari`s Alpha gets a release date
2026 started with a bang, and it already looks promising as Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh`s much-anticipated spy drama, Alpha, finally locks in a release date. The YRF all-female spy drama has been the talk of the town ever since the film was announced.
After seeing many heroes like Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan lead Yash Raj Films` spy drama, fans were excited to see an all-female spy actioner.
Now, the makers of Alpha have announced the release date and increased the anticipation among moviegoers. They also revealed two new additions to the cast.
Alpha release date
Yash Raj Films (YRF), along with Alia and Sharvari, took to social media and announced the release date for the upcoming first-ever all-female-led spy drama.
Sharing a teaser image with a glimpse of Alia Bhatt`s bruised look, the poster only revealed her eye and face, creating a sense of intrigue.
The poster also had "10.07.26 - Only in Cinemas" written on it. Take a look.

The dark and mysterious vibe was characterised by gold and metallic tones. The poster has the letter "A" written in Greek. Below the title, the names of Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol were mentioned – two new and interesting additions to Alpha`s cast.

The upcoming spy drama marks the Gangubai Kathiyawadi actress`s first film with Yash Raj Films. What makes it special is that Alpha will be the first-ever out-and-out all-female-led spy actioner of India.
With Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in titular roles, the film will be directed by Shiv Rawail of The Railway Men fame and backed by Aditya Chopra.
A source close to the development earlier revealed that the two actresses will be seen performing several intimidating stunts, and it will be an action-packed entertainer.
"Alia has put in months of training for this demanding film. A video that was uploaded by her trainer a few days back showed how she is getting stronger by the day for Alpha. The reason why Alia is pushing her body so much now is because of this schedule," the insider said.
Alpha will hit the theatres on July 10.
