Ajith Kumar Completes 33 Years In Tamil Cinema, Shares An Emotional Note

Ajith Kumar expresses gratitude on completing 33 years in cinema
One of the biggest names in the Tamil film industry, Ajith Kumar recently completed 33 years of being a versatile actor. His three-decade-long brilliance redefined the regional cinema as he carved a global fan base over the years.
Celebrating the milestone, the Vidaamuyarchi actor penned an emotional note and expressed gratitude. From being an outsider to becoming the most-loved South superstar, Ajith reflected on his journey and called it "extraordinary but never easy."
He started his note with, "As I complete 33 years in this extraordinary journey called cinema, I do not pen this to celebrate. I don`t wait for landmark numbers, as I believe that each passing year is a landmark year. I thank you all with a full heart and folded hands."
"This journey was never easy. I did not come from legacy or influence. I started from the outside, with nothing more than a will to try. Life, in its own way, tested me over and over through injuries, setbacks, failures, and silence. But I never stopped. I endured. I got back up. "And I kept moving forward," Ajith added.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly star revealed that perseverance was not something he learnt, but it was what he lived.
He thanked his fans for showing unconditional support through thick and thin and added, "In cinema, I have fallen and risen more times than I can count. And every time I doubted myself, your love lifted me. You stood by me, even when I was out of sight, even when I had nothing to offer but honesty. That kind of faith is rare. And I hold it close, always."
Along with thanking his fans, he also expressed gratitude for the support he received from the film fraternity, political leaders, media, and even the critics throughout these years.
In his statement, Ajith Kumar also talked about his love for cars and shared that his motor racing journey was equally humbling and testing.
Among his fans and the industry, he did not miss out on acknowledging the undying support from his wife, Shalini, and kids, Anoushka and Aadvik. He thanked them for bringing a balance in his sometimes chaotic life.
The actor ended the note by thanking the government for honouring him with the prestigious Padma Bhushan award.
