South Indian fans follow a tradition to build temples as a tribute to their favorite actresses in the industry. Interestingly, there are several south actresses like Nayanthara, Hansika Motwani, and Namitha who have temples modeled to honor them in Tamil Nadu. And now, joining the league is the sensational superstar Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The Oo Antava girl has a temple named after her by a die-hard fan.

Yes, you read it right, Samantha is one of the famous actresses with a massive fan following. One of her fans Tenali Sandeep built and named a temple after the actress. The temple which will be named after her is currently under completion in Alapadu village near Bapatla in Andhra Pradesh. However, Sandeep has finished the rest of the works and is eagerly waiting for April 28 to officially inaugurate the temple after his favorite superstar's name.

Surprisingly, the most interesting part of the story is that the fan has never got a chance to meet the Yashoda actress till now. He says that he became a huge fan of Samantha not only for her acting but mainly through seeing her charity work mainly through the Pratyusha Foundation.

She will also be seen in the Indian Edition of the Amazon series Citadel to be directed by Raj and DK where she will appear alongside Varun Dhawan for the first time. The original Hollywood series is headlined Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden.
