One of the most talented new actors, Adarsh Gourav, is all set to romance star kid Shanaya Kapoor in Bejoy Nambiar`s Tu Yaa Main. The White Tiger actor shared his excitement about the new project and shared the announcement on social media.
Taking it to Instagram, Adarsh said, "I’m truly thrilled to start working on this film. The shoot for the film starts in June, and the work on it has already begun. It’s a completely different genre from what I’ve done before, and that’s what drew me to the project.”
Tu Yaa Main Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor`s first ever collaboration on the big screen. While the former has done a few movies, the star kid is yet to make her debut in the film industry.

The shoot for the same is slated to begin in June, with the makers promising to narrate a gripping tale of a genre-blending ride of love, romance, thrill, and survival, all wrapped in a cinematic masterpiece.
Filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar, who has previously made movies like David, Shaitan, and Wazir, is renowned for adding jaw-dropping twists and thrills that promise an out-and-out entertainer.
The Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan actor further added, “Collaborating with Bejoy Nambiar, who has such a distinct cinematic voice, and sharing the screen with Shanaya Kapoor makes this even more special. I can’t wait for audiences to experience what we’re creating."
Tu Yaa Main is aiming for a Valentine`s Day 2026 release, with the shoot going on floors in June 2025. The film will be shot extensively in and around Mumbai.
Meanwhile, the teaser of Tu Yaa Main was released earlier in March this year. It goes back and forth between romance and thrills. It introduces Gourav and Shanaya`s characters as social media creators who can go to any lengths to create content.
On the work front
Adarsh Gourav, who was last seen in Superboys of Malegaon, is all set to make his glorious Hollywood debut with the sci-fi series Alien: Earth. It is a spin-off of Ridley Scott’s popular Alien movie franchise.
The series will release in August, but it seems 2025 is shaping up for Gourav exactly how he`d imagined.
Speaking about his Hollywood debut, the actor said, “I have gone from telling the story of a man making films in Malegaon to stepping into a world of intergalactic fear. The leap is surreal, but it’s also the result of consciously choosing stories that excite and scare me. Ridley Scott’s films had a huge influence on me growing up, so stepping into the Alien franchise feels [incredible].”
As for Shanaya Kapoor, she will be making her big Bollywood debut with Aakhon Ki Gustakhiyaan alongside Vikrant Massey. The movie will release on July 11 in cinemas near you.
