Actress Navina Bole Makes Casting Couch Allegations Against Sajid Khan

The entertainment industry often glitters from the outside, but recent revelations shed light on its darker corners. Actress Navina Bole, familiar to viewers from popular shows like `Ishqbaaz` and `Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah`, has brought forward serious allegations against filmmaker Sajid Khan, adding another voice to the troubling accusations surrounding him.
During this meeting, Navina alleges Sajid made an inappropriate demand. She recalled, “You know, I was really excited when he called me, and then he literally said, ‘Why don’t you just get off your clothes and sit in your lingerie? I need to see how comfortable you are.”
She described feeling uncomfortable and finding an excuse to leave, despite Sajid`s alleged persistence. “He said, ‘why, you wore a bikini on stage, so what is the problem? it’s all ‘Tits and ass’ in his language...’ Somehow I managed to get out of that place, and he must have called me at least 50 times, asking me, Why am I not coming? Where have I reached?"

Navina didn`t mince words about her perception of the director. “There was a terrible, terrible man who I would never want to meet in my life called Sajid Khan," she stated, adding that he "just really pushed the envelope when it came to disrespecting women.”
Further strengthening her claims of a pattern, Navina revealed another interaction. About a year later, while she was involved with Mrs. India, Sajid apparently contacted her again. “He had called me again then and asked me, ‘What do you do? you should come see me for a role.’ And I said, This guy must be hitting on so many women that he does not even remember that one year ago he had called me to his place, and he has already hit on me so badly.”

The Shocking Encounter
In a revealing interview on Subhojit Ghosh`s YouTube channel, Navina Bole opened up about her distressing experience with the ‘casting couch’. She recounted an incident dating back to around 2004-2006, following her participation in the Gladrags pageant, when Sajid Khan was casting for his film `Heyy Baby`. Navina shared that Sajid invited her not to his office, but to his home.During this meeting, Navina alleges Sajid made an inappropriate demand. Context: The #MeToo Allegations
These allegations against Sajid Khan are not isolated. During the height of India`s #MeToo movement in 2018, Sajid faced accusations of sexual harassment from multiple women within the industry, including actors like Saloni Chopra, Aahana Kumra, Mandana Karimi, Sherlyn Chopra, and a journalist.
