The Aashiqui franchise which has still remained in the hearts of audiences is all set to be in motion for its third installment. The timeless classic movie which is loved by the youth of the nation will star Kartik Aaryan in its next installment. The movie will be produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Vishesh Films and helmed by Anurag Basu.

The franchise was started by Gulshan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt in 1990 which starred Annu Agarwal and Rahul Roy. Aashiqui 2 which was released in 2013 featured Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor. The storyline of the movie was the heart of the prequels but the music remains to be their soul that will be carried forward by music director Pritam this time.

Kartik Aaryan announced Aashiqui 3 on Monday with a photo featuring Anurag Basu, Pritam, Mukesh Bhatt, and Bhushan Kumar.

Talking about Kartik Aaryan projects, he has Shehzada, Freddy, Captain India, Satyaprem Ki Katha and he also has a movie with Kabir Khan.

Aashiqui 3 is a romantic saga that is all set to reignite the magic of love stories and music. The leading female role is yet to be cast.
