She took to her Instagram handle and shared this amazing news. She was seen flaunting her beautiful diamond ring. Her die-hard fans were eager to know more about the cute proposal and when are Aaliyah and Shane going to get married.

Aaliyah Reveals How She Got Hated For Getting Engaged With Shane Gregoire

Aaliyah talked about being hated for getting engaged in her recent vlog on Youtube. She says that doesn't bother her, it's her life, and she feels ready for this big step.

Aaliyah said,'We're both ready. We've been talking about this for a while. We've already been living together for like six months. We've been together for three years. It's just a 'when you know, you know' situation. I know I'm super happy in this relationship, and he's my soulmate."

Shane Gregoire also added that he doesn't see any issue and it's really stupid that people are making it such a big thing. Aaliyah mentioned that she feels maturity matters the most when it comes to taking a life-changing decision such as marriage.

Surprisingly she added that she never thought she would get married before she was 28, but they both feel ready for the next big step. She said, 'I don't recommend every 20-year-old to go out and get married, that's now how it works. It's just a personal choice.'

Aaliyah Kashyap's Marriage Plans

On the other hand, Aaliyah also opened up about her marriage plans. She said that she and Shane will be hosting 2 engagement parties in August this year, one in the US and the other in India.

Further Aaliyah added that they haven't decided a date for their marriage yet, but they are eagerly planning to tie the knot in 2025. Aaliyah said,'1.5 or 2 years at least. Spring and summer of 2025, are what we are thinking. Because we want to enjoy this time being engaged.'
