Rock On 2: Makers release the first song from the movie titled Jaago

Raising a toast to womenhood, the makers of ‘Rock On 2’ have released the first song from the soundtrack titled ‘Jaago’. Song wise, it is a decent composition which puts the message across but does not hold a high recall value. But what is notable about the song are the percussions, courtesy indie sensation Jai Row Kavi. Kavi is a renowned drummer amongst celebrated indie bands such as Pangea, Indus Creed, Blackstratblues and Tough On Tobacco. Composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy with words by Javed Akhtar, the song has been sung by Farhan Akhtar and Siddharth Mahadevan. ‘Rock On 2’ is a sequel of the 2008 hit ‘Rock On’. It stars Farhan Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Prachi Desai and Shashank Arora in lead roles.
