"I Don`t Give A F*ck!" Priyadarshan On Paresh Rawal`s Exit From Hera Pheri 3

Priyadarshan`s reaction on Paresh Rawal quitting Hera Pheri 3
It seems Hera Pheri 3 has attracted controversy even before it could go on floors. The ongoing fiasco about the comedy drama has been making waves all over the internet after Paresh Rawal`s sudden exit from Hera Pheri 3. This has angered filmmaker Priyadarshan.
For the uninitiated, there were reports about the veteran actor walking away from the film after shooting for it a bit. A few days earlier, Rawal took to X (formerly Twitter) and confirmed the same.
I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER . I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director.

However, with Akshay Kumar suing his co-star for sabotaging the project, it is Hera Pheri 3 director Priyadarshan who has expressed his frustration with the actor.
Priyadarshan asks, "WTF is wrong with these actors?"
The director sat down for a chat with Bollywood Hungama and addressed the ongoing fiasco around the third instalment of the comedy franchise. He expressed disappointment over Paresh`s decision. Even Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty were equally shocked.
Slamming Paresh Rawal, the filmmaker said, “What the f**k is wrong with these people? Why is Paresh, whom I’ve always considered an integral part of my film family, behaving in such a manner? I don’t need this. I don’t need to make any films at all. I’m more than happy with what I’ve made so far. And I am financially well-off. I don’t need to make Hera Pheri or any other film.”

When asked if the Hulchul actor had discussed anything with him before walking out of the project, Priyadarshan said, “That’s the thing — he hasn’t given me or Akshay any explanation. After Akshay asked me to come on board, I came up with an idea for Hera Pheri 3, which everyone liked. Yes, Paresh loved it too. We even shot a bit for the film, and everyone was happy. There was no sign of any unhappiness from Paresh. I don’t know where this is coming from. I feel the whole thing is one big conspiracy.”
He was then asked about any communication with Paresh Rawal post the controversy. To which he explained, “Nothing! He indicated nothing. When I heard about his decision, I messaged him to ask what happened. He replied saying I shouldn’t try to call him because he didn’t want to talk about it and that he does not want to disrespect me. Is this how you show respect?"
Will Hera Pheri 3 happen without Baburao?
In the same interview, Priyadarshan was asked if Hera Pheri 3 will be made after Paresh Rawal, who plays the role of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, is no longer a part of the project.

Being brutal as ever, the director said, “I don’t give a f**k. I don’t care whether it’s made or not. I was doing it for Akshay. I really don’t want to work anymore. I have some commitments to fulfil. I’ve just completed Bhooth Bangla with Akshay, and I have a film with Akshay and Saif that I am committed to direct. Beyond that, I don’t need this kind of tension. I would rather play with my grandchild than make movies with unprofessional actors.”
Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty, who also plays a prominent role in Hera Pheri, spoke to ANI and said the film cannot be made without Rawal`s character.
“It cannot happen. 100 per cent cannot happen without Paresh Rawal. It can have a 1 per cent chance without me and Akshay, but 100% can’t happen without Paresh ji. No, it doesn’t. Raju and Shyam, if they’re not hammered by Babu here, it doesn’t work,” he quoted.
