These lesser known indie musicians who have formed their own niche and are taking the indie music scene to another level. 1. NaalayakA four piece band that's known to make soulful music, Naalayak's Zaakir is the most-listened track. An Indie Pop Rock band from Chandigarh, Sahil, Akshat, Gary and Aashish are the minds behind giving us some great masterpieces. 2. Dhruv KapoorOf delicate acoustics, warm ballad-like voice, and soft pop melodies - Dhruv Kapoor is the up and coming independent artist you must have on your playlist. His singles 'Jeene De', 'Stay', 'What Is Love', and more have become our personal earworms. The 21-year old Delhi-based indie musician is the perfect candidate for the pop-folk genre. 3. Anumita NadesanIf you're an avid Insatgrammer, you'll definitely know who she is. Started with recording covers, Anumita Nadesan has recently released her single 'Khwaab', which again is an instant hit. Groomed under the guidance of Himanshu from popular indie band The Yellow Diary, she has already garnered over a community of 240,000 music lovers on her YouTube channel. Don't believe us? 4. Sanjeeta BhattacharyaThe 25-year old singer-songwriter is known for her singles such as 'Red', 'Gal Sunn Zara', 'Khoye Se', and 'Everything's Fine.' Her latest collaboration with fellow indie singer Kamakshi Khanna, 'Swimming', has garnered over 30,000 views on YouTube. Listen to her latest track here.

5. Masala CoffeeHow can we miss out on our beautiful regional music! A band that primarily writes their songs in Tamil and Malyalam, Masala Coffee also performs in Hindi to cater to the massive indie community. Announcing their debut album release in 2018, 'Kimaya' consisted of 10 songs in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.A nine-piece band, Varun Sunil, Crishna, Aslam, Daya Sankar, Preeth PS, David Crimson Clifton, Paul Joseph (Pauly), Amal Sivan and Steve Kottoor are the musicians who make incredible pieces.
