The Bollywood Report Card 2018-Pits of the 3rd Quarter

A well-intentioned film that failed due to lack of buzz around its lead stars and its inability to really connect with the audience.

The movie was way-too long for current Hindi film standards and was also weighed down by over-the-top performances.

A wonderful film that could not maintain a run at the theatres even for a week. Weak publicity and lack of buzz completely nipped the film in its bud.

Maybe, the audience ran out of interest for Jackky Bhagnani, frankly speaking

Filmmaker JP Dutta was clearly stuck in a time-warp that the audiences preferred to not fall into his trap.

Nothing about this film was worthy enough to pull an audience. Not even the nostalgia around the veteran actor Dharmendra.

There were all chances of this film working had it only featured Piyush Mishra and Jimmy Sheirgill.

Supposed to be a remake of the Dutch film Everybodys Famous, Fanney Khan sank at the box-office without a trace

A film that doesnt deserve to be in the list of pits. It was an enjoyable film that couldnt connect to a larger audience.

The filmmakers chose to keep the content of the film guarded which did not benefit the film, Lack of buzz killed the box-office run for Mulk.

The movie failed to create any curiousity around its release and was frankly banking upon the success of Sanju to create a buzz. But none of it worked.

Possibly the scariest quarter so far, July-Sep 2018 saw as many as eleven flops. Click ahead to see which films have made it to this list.
