Six Significant Cameos by Shah Rukh Khan in Bollywood Movies

With just two minutes of screen presence, SRK left a far more lasting impression on-screen than the films leading man Ranbir Kapoor. Not to forget it was King Khan, who delivered the films main punchline on the power of one-sided love.

Zoya Akhtars directorial debut which was a satire on the ways of showbiz, had a horde of cameos by many leading actors, but it was Khan who gave us, the films most memorable scene. The life lesson he imparts to Farhan Akhtars character are golden words meant to be engraved.

Had he stayed for longer on-screen, chances are that he would have walked away with Vidya and the baby in the end. He was such a charmer in the song, Mast Kalandar.

In what was a rather gruesome and violent watch, SRKs character adds the much needed humour and smiles with his goofy act. Not to forget how his character lusted after Aishwarya Rai.

SRK appears as an IAS officer, alongside Tabu, who takes the responsibility of having run over Rani Mukherjis character in the film, even though the accident was caused by the latter. As an emphatic husband, he was spot-on.

In a film dominated by Kamal Haasans presence, SRK added maximum impact with his minute cameo as Amjad Khan. Infact, Haasan has gone on record to state that Khan did not charge a single penny for his role, which highly speaks about the actors passion towards his job.

The fact that Shah Rukh Khan carries the star power to open a film with large box-office numbers isnt new but the actor also possesses this uncanny ability to appear in bit roles that leave the audience asking for more. Here are six such impressive cameos by King Khan that left us clapping out loud for him.
