Sanju: Ranbir Kapoor, Rajkumar Hirani at the teaser launch

The film will release on June 29th, 2018.

Producers Bhushan Kumar and Vidhu Vinod Chopra pose with Hirani for a picture. The film is also jointly produced by Fox Star Studios.

Besides Ranbir, the film also features Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Jim Sarbh and Karishma Tanna.

Hirani returns to direction after four years following the success of his last release, PK, starring Aamir Khan.

Ranbir will be seen playing the titular role of Sanjay Dutt. The actor has worked immensely on getting the physique, body language and accent right, which is evident in the teaser unveiled.
