Saand Ki Aankh is based on the lives of the Tomar sisters-in-law who hail from Johri, Uttar Pradesh, and are credited to have won as many as 30 National championships. The movie also stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Prakash Jha and Shaad Randhawa in key roles.
