Ranveer Singh snapped with his Gully Boy gang

Recent reports have also confirmed that Kalki Koechlin will soon join the cast of the film as a rapper.

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the film will also star Alia Bhatt.

The Bajirao Mastani actor has been taking notes from rappers Divine, Kaam Bhari, singer-songwriter Ankur Tewari and other musicians for his role.

Ranveer will essay a role based on the lives of Mumbai-based underground rappers Divine and Naezy.

Ranveer Singh was spotted in Bandra, Mumbai alongwith independent musicians while prepping for his next film, Gully Boy.
