An expression of exasperation and mundanity of being stuck in a vicious routine, the single 'Motion' has been conceived by Dino Siren, the brainchild of Ishaan Krishna -bassist for Mumbai metallers Bhayanak Maut and alt-rock outfit The Hoodwink Circle and Karun Kannampilly -drummer for The Koniac Net and singer-songwriter Raghav Meattle. Featuring Azamaan Hoyvoy and Mallika Barot on vocals, the song conveys internal hurt despite being upbeat and peppy, sonically.

Clocking in at almost 11 minutes, 'Dr. Escher' by Tarun Balani, one of India's finest jazz drummers and composers, is a hat tip to Dutch artist M.C Escher and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. With able use of keys, synths, strings and trumpet, the song is the first release from Balani's quartet 'Dharma' which will release its debut EP, 'The Shape of Things to Come' in October 2020.

Emerging as a crowd favourite from the artiste's latest EP, 'Waqt', 'Teri Tarah' is a love letter penned with remorse and regret for overlooking the credentials of a love that was too good to be true. The lyrics, penned by Pinky Poonawala, carry an influence from Hindi film romances, yet they manage to stay relevant and contemporary, thereby resonating with its ultimate listeners. You have to be kidding us if you haven't heard it yet.

A six-piece progressive metal outfit from Bhubaneswar, Odisha, Cross Affinity comprises of vocalist Arko, Pratik and Sayan on guitars, Yash on keys, Parikshit on drums and Dhananjay on bass. Following up their May release, 'Forge The Fire', the young band has now released, 'Sonder', a heavily laden riff machine that settles in mellow in between. It encourages listeners to believe that their stories and journeys matter, no matter how irrelevant they may deem them.

A perfect amalgamation of Indian classical vocals and western instrumentals, 'Haari' by electronica duo Anhad + Tanner featuring Anhad Khanna from New Delhi and Tanner Willeford from North Carolina, USA is hugely lifted by the mesmerizing vocals of Shadow and Light vocalist Pavithra Chari. Featuring Vibhor Mathur on the flute and Sarthak Pahwa on tabla and percussions, 'Haari' is perfect for a lounge evening.

Close on the heels of 'Age of Limbo', the first release from her upcoming album, 'Caution to the Wind', Maalavika Manoj aka Mali questions authority and credibility of people placed in power. Lyrically rich with beautiful arrangements using the keys and the strings, 'Absolute' is simply beautiful, for the lack of a better expression.
