Mumbai-based electro pop duo Nothing Anonymous, featuring singer Ambika Nayak and producer Nirmit Shah have arrived with their latest single, 'Waste Away', after the success of their debut five-track EP 'Here To Stay', which was released last September. The song talks about being caught in a never-ending struggle of finding purpose, one that often leads to disillusion and loneliness. Interestingly, the song was one of the first tracks worked upon by the duo at the time of formation.

Featuring vocalist Aisha Sayed, 'Baarish' by Mumbai-based composer Rohan Puntambekar is petrichor. Infused with a refreshing blend of keyboards, guitars and violin accompanied by Sayed's playful vocals, the song celebrates the calm and bliss brought by rains.

Modern metal outfit from Mumbai featuring vocalist Arbaaz Khan, Sushant Vohra and Sanjeet Khuraijam on guitars and Reeshav Gohain on drums, Sarfaad launches a full-throttle attack on the establishment with their second single, 'Dog Days'. Blending in hip-hop and electronic influences to offer us a nu-metal composition, Sarfaad is now aiming to compile an EP by the end of the year

A discussion on mental health today is the need of the hour. And nothing better than music can drive forth the initiative. New York-based singer-songwriter Manas Jha propels the narrative with the music video of his single, 'Shades', a song that addresses anxiety amongst the young minds who are uncertain about the future in the midst of an ongoing pandemic. The official music video of the song, one among the five-track EP, 'Reimagined', which has been produced by Ekabhuya Animation Studio, pieces together incidents from the singer's school life which dealt with social anxiety and substance use. Jha hopes that the music video will raise awareness and enable those suffering in silence to reach out for help.

Featuring Amit Khadikar on vocals/guitars, Savio Sebastian on lead guitars, Amit Godse on drums and Hemant Aligi on bass, Pune-based alternative rock band Hourglass Inversion unleashed their new single, 'Frontier', earlier this summer. A song about taking every challenge that life throws at you, heads on, 'Frontier' is replete with rousing riffs and has even received a shout-out from American guitarist Mark Tremonti of Alter Bridge and Creed fame.

Former contestant on 'The Stage' and 'Nexa Music', singer/songwriter Nisa Shetty teams up with American musicians Drake Duffer and Oliver Glynn to give us 'Baatein', a beautiful rendition of unspoken love between two people who are living apart from each other. A dream collaboration pulled off during the lockdown across Mumbai, North Carolina and Virginia, the song is Shetty's first single in Hindi from her upcoming EP.
