Off-screen PadMan snapped at Mood Indigo with Akshay Kumar

Arjun N Kapoor, one-half of KriArj Entertainment was also snapped alongwith the entourage.

PadMan has been jointly produced by Twinkle Khanna, Sony Pictures India, KriArj Entertainment, Cape of Good Films and Hope Productions.

The film also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte.

Muruganantham is also known as Indias Menstrual Man. He has been awarded the Padmashri by the Government of India for his efforts to ensure womens hygiene and sanitation.

Akshay Kumar will be playing the role of Muruganantham in the film, a man who made a low-cost sanitary napkin machine and brought about a social change on a subject considered a taboo in India.

Real life PadMan Arunachalam Muruganantham was snapped alongside Akshay Kumar and director R.Balki at Mood Indigo, IIT Bombays annual cultural fest, while the trio promoted the film stressing upon the importance of womens hygiene. Click ahead for more pictures.
