Anindo Bose is an avid Pink Floyd fan and also plays for a tribute band called 'Think Floyd'. He is also one of the founder members of the fusion octet Advaita.

The duo made their debut at the Nh7 Weekender Pune on a collaborative set with Karsh Kale, Warren Mendonsa and Benny Dayal.

Apart from being a classically trained vocalist under Shubha Mudgal, Pavithra is also trained in the dance form of Bharatnatyam, and is a certified expressive arts therapist.

This picture from the band's first international tour to Sri Lanka, was shot on a camera that was left hanging by a tree branch to get the shot right.

Shadow and Light, comprising of vocalist Pavitra Chari and keyboardist Anindo Bose, is a Delhi-based fusion collaborative that fuses electronica, jazz and Hindustani classical music. Both musicians swiftly shift between styles and genres while taking the centrestage at a gig. They are also known to perform as a band with drummer Aveleon Vaz and bassist Steve Peter of Five 8 fame.
