With a show already brimming with stupendous talent on Amazon Prime Video, Faisal Malik as the Up Pradhan, the right-hand man of Raghubir Yadavs Pradhan, was a complete hoot. You are bound to laugh even before he mutters his lines.

The lovely Geetanjali Kulkarni who left a remarkable impression in the acclaimed Marathi movie Court was the saving grace of an otherwise sinking ship that was Taj Mahal 1989. Streaming on Netflix, Thakur played an exasperated professor who was doubting the credibility of her marriage.

In a show that mostly featured unfamiliar faces, Amit Sial, who has been credited duly for his work in Raid and Inside Edge brought his stellar acting chops to his role in Netflixs Jamtara as a ruthless politician who tasks young boys of Bihar into phishing money from unsuspecting commoners.

In what was a dismal, drag of a show, the gorgeous Sushmita Sen was outstanding in Hotstars Aarya as a bereaved wife who has to avenge against the culprits behind her husbands murder and deal with sexist stakeholders while taking over the reigns of an established business magnet. For someone who has battled health issues too over the years, Miss. Sen emerged confident and composed on the show.

Asur streaming on Voot Select, easily marks Arshads most confident and accomplished work as an actor, especially having spent over 25 years in films doing comic roles mostly. As Dr. Dhananjay Rajput, a forensic science expert who is battling a bitter marriage and demons of his own, Arshad is a revelation like youve never witnessed before. A performance that could silence all his detractors.

For a character that couldve been easily reduced to the shadows, Chaddha makes the biggest impression, owning her silences and raising her voice where it concerns. You must watch the show for the sheer display of her arc as an actor.

As Himmat Singh, a senior analyst in RAW on Hotstars Special Ops, Kay Kay Menon proved once again why he brings out his best work, when he is playing it understated and at ease, in this espionage thriller. You can never predict whats going on in his head and yet the actor remains calm and self-assured.

Maanvi Gagroo, who has been hailed as internets most favourite actress, not just returned as the wonderful Siddhi Patel in Four More Shots Please Season 2 on Amazon Prime Video, she also shattered all the stereotypes that dictate the lives of women on the healthier side. As Siddhi, Maanvi showed how a woman can take charge of her own body and her decisions in life. Watch out for her in episode 7 in a crucial scene involving an open mic sketch. If you dont find yourself clapping, well surrender.

If there is one actor we are uniamously happy about that hed finally be getting his due as an actor, its Jaideep Ahlawat.
