Dhadak: Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor snapped during a press interaction

Produced by Karan Johar and Zee Studios, the film is the official adaptation of the Marathi superhit Sairat, directed by Nagraj Manjule.

Dhadak has been directed by Shashank Khaitan of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and "Badrinath Ki Dulhania fame.

Janhvi Kapoor makes her mainstream debut with this film as Parthavi. All eyes are on the young debutant who is also the daughter of Indias female superstar, the late Sridevi.

Ishaan Khatter, who was last seen in Majid Majidis Beyond The Clouds, makes his mainstream debut in the film as Madhukar.
