Darbar Trailer Launch: Rajinikanth wishes to do a Marathi film in future

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the film is slated for official release on January 9, 2020 and will be released across Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.

Music of the film has been rendered by Anirudh Ravichander with Armaan Malik and Nakash Aziz featuring as prominent voices in the films soundtrack

Prateik Babbar is also playing a key role in the film. However, further details on the same are yet unknown.

Suniel Shetty who has been away from the archlights for a while returns in the film as the lead antagonist.

Rajinikanth plays Aadhithya Arunachalam, the cold-blooded Commissioner of Mumbai Police. When asked, the legendary superstar expressed his desire to work in a Marathi film. For those who do not know, the actor is Maharashtrian by birth.
