Aditi Rao Hydari will play the role of Chandni based on the life of Chandramukhi. She was last seen in Padmavat as Mehrunisa.

Richa Chadha, who has been reaping in the fruits of success with Fukrey Returns, will play the role of Paro in this modern remake.

The understatedly handsome Rahul Bhatt will play the role of a love-torn politician Dev Pratap Singh. He was last seen on the big screen in Ugly and Fitoor.
