Ranveer Singh has been making headlines ever since his photoshoot for Paper Magazine went live. While many fans appreciated the actor, many trolled him badly. Due to this the actor fell into a big controversy. Here are some Bollywood celebrities who came in support of the actor amidst this controversy.

1. Vidya BalanVidya Balan spoke in support of the actor saying she could not understand why an FIR has been filed against the actor. "What's the problem? First time a man has done this. Let us also have some fun.' Balan told reporters.When asked about a case being filed against Ranveer, the actress said, "Maybe they (people who filed FIR) don't have much work to do hence they are wasting their time on these things. If you don't like it then close the paper or throw it, do what you wish to. Why get into an FIR?"

2. Alia BhattThe actress is busy with the promotions of her upcoming film Darlings. During the promotions, when a question was put up to the actress, she was seen defending her Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani co-star saying, "I don't like anything negative said about my favorite Ranveer Singh. I love him eternally and he's everybody's favorite. He has given us so much at the movies, so we should only give him love."

3. Parineeti ChopraParnieeti Chopra too, came in support of her Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl co-star. The actress said, 'Ranveer's been a true creative artiste since the day I've known him, which was even before he became an actor. He is a free-flowing creator, and nothing holds him back, which is the best quality an artist can have. I can think of no other actor who could do this shoot. And when you're the only one who can do something, what higher compliment could there be?'

4. Arjun KapoorIn an event of Ek Villain 2, Ranveer Singh's dearest friend, Arjun, talked about the bold photoshoot and said, 'I think we should just appreciate what he has done. We should all be happy and proud of what he has done and it has nothing to do with me, so you are taking away from what the boy has done.'
