Asur, Mirzapur Season 2, Paatal Lok: Nominations for the Best Series: Thriller: Hitlist OTT Awards

Despite several works of fiction based upon the horrific 26/11 attacks, what makes State of Siege: 26/11 stand out is the narrative being told through the lenses of the NSG commandos who fought then at the forefront. Unflinching in its depiction yet not overtly dramatising it, the show is an earnest attempt in retelling an episode nobody would want to recollect.

An engaging espionage thriller with the stellar Kay Kay Menon in the lead, Special Ops traces a 19-year old chase to nab the mastermind behind the deadliest acts of terror carried out. Well-written with intricate details given special attention, Special Ops emerged as a massive crowd favourite during the initial phases of the lockdown.

An investigative drama that mirrors the ugly image of our imbalanced society, Paatal Lok will be remembered for the ages as one of the finest Indian shows to benefit from great writing and fabulous performances.

Season 2 of Mirzapur totally lived upto the hype and expectations set by its predecessor. Seeing key characters evolve through the latest season won the hearts of our audience. A special shout out to Divyenndu as Munna Tripathi and Rasika Dugal as Beena Tripathi who bowled us over with their character arcs.

In what could possibly be Arshad Warsis career-best performance, Asur was a visceral take on the consuming nature of religion and how it dictates the life of a fragile mind.

Featuring a top-notch Sushmita Sen, Aarya was a gritting tale of a mothers survival in the world of blazing guns and raging men.

Presenting the nominations for the Best Series: Thriller at the Radio City and Mid-Day presents Hitlist OTT Awards. These shows left us biting our nails in anticipation, yet leaving us satiated with entertainment.
