Presenting names and faces of some famous celebrities who dropped out of college to pursue their acting ambitions

1. Aamir Khan, also known as 'Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood' is a college dropout. He is notably known for his films 'Rang De Basanti', 'Dangal', '3 Idiots' and many more. He completed his 12th grade for NMIMS but eventually had to drop out of college due to financial troubles in his family.

2. Popularly known as 'Bebo', Kareena Kapoor Khan attended college because of her mother. She pursued a degree in Commerce from Mithibai College, Mumbai but decided to drop out.

3. Deepika Padukone is one of the most popular actresses in Bollywood. She enrolled for college but later quit for a career in modelling.

4. Alia Bhatt, who is famously known for her work in films such as 'Highway', 'Raazi' and 'Gully Boy', made her debut in Bollywood with 'Student of the Year' right after completing her schooling. She later decided not to pursue further education.

5. Katrina Kaif has no formal education. She has been home tutored by her mother and has done correspondence courses primarily. She decided to drop-out of college to pursue her career in the Indian film industry.

6. Bollywood's fashionista, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja dropped out of college to pursue to her career in Bollywood and made her debut in 'Saawariya' alongside Ranbir Kapoor in 2007. In an interview she mentioned that she regrets to have dropped out of college.

7. Arjun Kapoor, renowned for his films such as 'Gunday' and '2 States', decided to study higher secondary at NMIMS but eventually decided to opt out.

8. Kangana Ranaut, 'the Queen of Indian cinema' left her home at the age of 16, as her mother wanted her to get married. She decided to relocate to Delhi and pursue her career in films which made her leave her studies mid-way.

9. Shraddha Kapoor, popularly known for work in 'Aashiqui 2' and 'ABCD 2', initially enrolled at the Boston university but eventually opted out to pursue her career in Bollywood.

10. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the winner of the Miss. World Pageant in 1994 initially enrolled at the Jai Hind College in Mumbai to study architecture, but she dropped out eventually.
