The film will be produced by Phantom Films headed by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl and Madhu Mantena.

The film will be directed by Kabir Khan. It will be interesting to see how the creative energies of Ranveer and Kabir will bring magic on the big screen.

The event was also attended by the rest of the 1983 World Cup Squad including Mohinder Amarnath, Kirti Azad, Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Roger Binny, Sandeep Patil, Madan Lal and Dilip Vengsarkar to name a few.
