Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao, Nawazuddin Siddiqui participate in live YT session to raise funds for COVID 19 relief

Premier film platform Film Companion hosted a live YouTube session with actors Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mithila Palkar, director Zoya Akhtar, stand-up comedian Tanmay Bhat and lyricist/satirist Varun Grover, as part of their crowd-funding campaign, in association with Ketto.org for MissionOxygen.Over a three-hour long session, fans were invited to participate in a live Q'n'A chat with the celebrities where they could stand the chance to pose questions if they contributed to Film Companion's fund.The team of Film Companion featuring Anupama Chopra, Sneha Menon Desai, Sucharita Tyagi, Rohini Ramanathan and Suchin Mehrotra took turns to host the celebrity line-up where they posed fan questions and indulged in interesting trivia about the invited guests.Through the course of this session, the campaign managed to generate over 4 lakhs with Vicky himself pledging a donation with 2 lakhs, a gesture that was acknowledged by the Film Companion team on their social media collaterals.The funds generated would be shared with the Democracy People Foundation, for the procurement of oxygen and necessary medical aid.
