The Lady killer Trailer: Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar Star in a Passionate Thriller

The trailer for Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar's The Lady killer is out. It has given audiences much to anticipate and promises to be a sizzling tale of love, lust, and betrayal.

Opening up in the beautiful mountains of Uttarakhand, we meet the character of Arjun Kapoor, who seems to be going through some trauma. He has a lot of intense moments in the over-two-minute duration of the trailer.


Right in the beginning, he is shot in the stomach as he opens up a screeching door to a house. Later, he is seen smoking cigarettes and drinking incessantly before he meets Bhumi Pednekar.

Entering a house, he sees her standing by a wall, eyeing him with seductive eyes. As the story slowly unfolds, we get a glimpse into her character, who shows a tint of mystery and enigma. Arjun and Bhumi share a burning chemistry together, they make love and spearhead the passion in bed.

Both of them individually exhibit quite a lot of rage, and it looks to be a promising performance for both of them.

Speaking about the film, Bhumi Pednekar expressed how it was the most challenging role to play. According to her, it was a new territory and genre for both of them to work in. She added, "I proudly say that, as I have done a whole bunch of movies that really pushed me and made me push my boundaries, but this one specifically was not easy."

Along with that, she also shared some things regarding her friendship with Arjun Kapoor. She is also filming another film with him, titled Meri Patni Ka Remake. He said, "For a film like this one, we are talking about... I feel shooting with a friend made the process easier because, trust me, this is one film where I was like, "Okay, I cannot take it any more."

Bhumi Pednekar was last seen in Thank You For Coming, which received good reviews. Arjun Kapoor starred in the dark comedy Kuttey earlier this year.

The Lady killer is directed by Ajay Bahl, who has previously made films like B.A. Pass (2012), Section 375 (2019).
