Shanaya Kapoor Says, "I`m Working Hard To Prove That I Deserve It" For Her Bollywood Debut Bedhadak

Shanaya Kapoor who already enjoys a massive fan base is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's Bedhadak. Back when Karan Johar announced the movie and with information about launching Shanaya sparked a huge debate on Nepotism. People started slamming Karan Johar and Maheep Kapoor's daughter for the same.

A few days back, other rumors were speculating about the movie that the film was indefinitely postponed or shelved. However, it was later clarified that the film will begin next year.

Recently in an interview, Shanaya Kapoor said, 'I'm both nervous and excited. Nervous because I must do the best job and because it isn't just a first film, it's the first step towards hopefully a long and varied career. And excited because I'm finally a step closer to realizing a dream I've had since childhood. It's a mix of all kinds of emotions. Gurfateh, Lakshya, and I have prepared a lot for it, and it's a very special film for the whole Bedhadak team. It's very close to my heart! I'm extremely grateful to have gotten a film like Bedhadak.'

Furthermore, while talking about the movie, the actress said, 'I'm grateful for the opportunity and I'm working very hard to prove that I deserve it. I want my performance in this film to make people feel that I earned this opportunity- that I didn't waste it or that I didn't take it for granted. I've worked very hard and I will continue'

Talking about her other appearance, Shanaya Kapoor recently featured in Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives season 2. Shanaya has also worked on the movie Gunjan Saxena as an assistant director to understand the concepts of filmmaking.

Helmed by Shashank Khaitan, the movie also features Gurfateh Pirzada and Lakshya Lalwani.
