Ranveer Singh stuns yet again as Kapil Dev in new still from ‘83

With a jaw-dropping still from '83, Ranveer Singh took to social media to reveal the latest look as former Indian skipper Kapil Dev, on Monday morning.Captioned 'Natraj Shot', Ranveer looks completely in sync with the real-life cricketer sporting his trademark curls and child-like smile. While Ranveer plays the role of the Indian cricket captain, who leads Team India to its first World Cup victory in 1983, he is joined by an ensemble of actors who make the squad including Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Jiiva, Sahil Khattar, Chirag Patil, Adinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, Dinker Sharma, Jatin Sarna, Nishant Dahiya, R Badree, Boman Irani and Pankaj Tripathi. Deepika Padukone will be seen essaying the role of his wife Romi Dev.Directed by Kabir Khan, '83' has been jointly produced by Deepika, Reliance Entertainment, Nadiadwala Grandson Films, Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Madhu Mantena and will release in cinemas on April 10, 2020.
