Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt to team up for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra?

Not only are Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt established superstars from the current crop of actors, both performers share great on-screen chemistry. Their equation first stemmed from the advertisements they did for an online travel portal, which further translated into a successful on-screen pairing for director Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy'.Now, the latest development suggests that the two actors are likely to pair up for filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Baiju Bawra'. Touted to be a remake of the 1952 original of the same name starring Meena Kumari and Bharat Bhushan, the story traces the journey of Baiju, a young musician in emperor Akbar's court who challenges the king's favourite maestro Tansen to a musical duel, after he accounts the latter to be responsible for his father's death.If this does hold true, it will be a treat for fans to see a dream team come together. While Alia is currently busy with Bhansali's 'Gangubhai Kathiawadi', Ranveer has delivered his career-best hits with the filmmaker in 'Goliyon Ki Raas Leela, Ram Leela', 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Padmaavat'
