Rajkummar Rao In HIT: Actor Reveals His First Look Leaving Us Intrigued About The South Remake

Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra pair together for their upcoming cop drama HIT. A remake of Telugu superhit, the dropped his first look today, taking internet by the storm. The story of the movie revolves around a cop who is on a trail of finding a missing woman. HIT stands for Homicide Intervention Team.
In the original telugu film, Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma played the lead. Rajkummar Rao dons a rugged look with a subtle beard and earrings on both his ears. Playing the character of Vikram, the Trapped actor shared his first look poster and wrote, 'Unravelling the first mystery. Hitting the theatres on 15th July 2022! HIT - The First Case #HITGlimpseOfVikram out on 14th June (sic) .'

We're yet to see the Badhaai Ho actress's first look in the film.
Excited for his new project, Rao said, "When I saw HIT, I instantly connected with it. It's an engaging story, relevant in today's environment. As an actor I am always on the look out to play characters I haven't explored and HIT gives me a chance to do that. I'm looking forward to take this journey with Sailesh and Dil Raju."
HIT - The First Case is helmed by Dr Sailesh Kolanu, who also happens to be the director of the original Telugu movie. The Hindi version is produced by eries' Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar and Kuldeep Rathore. The Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra starrer will be releaisng on July 15th in the cinemas near you.
