Phillauri: The trailer of the Anushka Sharma-Diljit Dosanjh starrer is pure gold

For months, fans eagerly awaited the trailer of 'Phillauri' and it's finally here. The result is that the trailer glitters of the gold that this film is bound to be.Starring Anushka Sharma as Shashi, a spirit who comes down to haunt an unsuspecting groom played by Suraj Sharma of 'Life of Pi' fame, the story traces Shashi's love story from another period in time where she was left yearning for the affection of her lover played by Diljit Dosanjh, who essays the role of a musician.'Phillauri' clearly shows Anushka's ability to pick out a meaty role, once again and deliver an unconventional performance.Directed by newcomer Anshai Lal, 'Phillauri' is the second production to be helmed by Anushka and her brother Karnesh Sharma, under their banner, Clean Slate Films after 'NH10'. The film has also been jointly produced by Fox Star Studios.The film releases in cinemas on March 24, 2017.
