Directed by Advait Chandan, 'Laal Singh Chaddha' stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya in pivotal roles. The film releases on August 11th, 2022 worldwide.
Aamir Khan plays the role of Laal Singh Chaddha, a friendly man who navigates through life with perpetual optimism. Lal Singh is mentally impaired and has a walking disability, he overcomes all the hurdles and becomes a cross country runner. Kareena plays the role of Karmajit Kaur, his love interest. The story spans out through multiple Indian historic events. Netizens called Aamir Khan's character a crossover between Rancho and PK. 
The film is an adaptation of multiple Oscar winning 'Forrest Gump' featuring Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Gary Sinese and others. It revolves around the idea of enjoying while you have it. Gump's story shows that you never know what's going to happen in the future, and that also includes not knowing when your time will be up or if your life is ever going to be compromised.
