Looks like the trouble for filmmaker Karan Johar's ambitious and much-delayed project 'Takht' is far from over.Seems the COVID 19 outbreak is posing as a huge hurdle in the way of the filmmaker's upcoming productions in the new financial year. If sources are to be believed, 'Takht' will suffer the most as its already an endangered project with controversies surrounding the film's content and one of the scriptwriters being embroiled in a Twitter spat.'Takht' boasted of an ensemble cast featuring Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. That's not all, following the outbreak of the virus, Karan's Dharma Productions are likely to reschedule their roster where they might have to halt work on some of their recently announced projects including 'Dostana 2' and the untitled film starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday.Dharma has had a shaky start to the year with 'Bhoot Part One The Haunted Ship' tanking at the box office and their Netflix film 'Guilty' receiving positive to average reviews. With 'Sooryavanshi' release postponed due to the virus outbreak, the ready-to-release projects include 'Gunjan Saxena' starring Janhvi Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi, 'Shershaah' starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani and 'Bhramhastra' with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt which itself has been in the making for more than three years.
