One wouldn't imagine Kapil Sharma getting angry and losing it. But sometimes circumstances test the best of us. And when it's a delayed flight, it irks like nothing. Kapil Sharma has lashed out at Indigo Airlines in a series of angry tweets after his flight got delayed by more than an hour. In the tweets, he brought forth how the delay caused inconvenience to passengers.

Kapil Sharma Tweets Furiously About Airline

In the first post, he wrote, "Dear @IndiGo6E, first you made us wait in the bus for 50 minutes, and now your team is saying the pilot is stuck in traffic. What? Really ? We were supposed to take off by 8 p.m., but it's 9:20, and still there is no pilot in the cockpit. Do you think these 180 passengers will fly in Indigo again? Never". He also added a thumbs-down emoji to follow it up with.

In the subsequent tweet on the same thread, he shared a video of passengers deboarding the flight. He wrote, "Now they are deboarding all the passengers and saying we will send you on another aircraft, but again, we have to go back to the terminal for a security check."

In the last tweet, he highlighted how the incessant delay has caused grave inconvenience to passengers. He wrote, "People are suffering because of you, @IndiGo6E, lying, lying, lying. There are some old passengers on wheel chairs, not in very good health condition. Shame on you, Indigo."

After this, the airline repiled on his tweets and clarified the reason for the delay.

Tweet Controversies of Kapil Sharma

Kapil Sharma is not new to making controversial tweets. In 2016, his tweet went viral, where he tagged Prime Minister Narendra. In the tweet, he wrote, "I am paying Rs 15 crore income tax from last 5 years, and still I have to pay a Rs 5 crore bribe to the BMC office for making my office, @narendramodi."

It later came to light that it was a drunken tweet that he made late into the night. He spoke at length about this incident in his Netflix special titled, 'I am not done yet'.

Kapil Sharma's last theatrical release was the understated Zwigato, directed by Nandita Das. His performance in the film was well-appreciated. He is reportedly roped in to do a cameo in the Kareena Kapoor-starrer The Crew.
