MARCH 31,2022

After a brutally worst way of ending Game of Thrones, HBO has recently announced the release date of its prequel show - House Of The Dragons. The Game of Thrones spinoff will debut on 21st August on HBO and HBO Max. The streaming service company took to social media to announce the premier date on Wednesday by showing a picture of what looked like a hatching dragon egg.

Is this a sign that we'll be seeing at least one of the terrfying beasts?

House of the Dragons

Based on George R.R. Matin's 2019 novel Fire and Blood, House of The Dragons is based on House Targaryen. It takes you 200 years before the events of the globally popular Game of Thrones, in which Daenerys Targaryen played one of the major characters.

The first announcement by HBO about House Of The Dragons was in October 2019 that the prequel was in the works. The teaser of the show was released in October 2021.

House of the Dragons, which releases on August 21st, is most likely to go against Amazon Prime series 'Lord Of The Rings: The Rings of Power', which debuts on 2nd September.

Game of Thrones fans, what do you expect from this prequel? We're pretty psyched for this.
