The makers of the upcoming Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-starrer 'Gully Boy' announced the trailer launch of the film scheduled on January 9, 2019, with Ranveer spitting verses as an aspirational rapper, therefore conveying the essence of Asli Hip-Hop.Both Ranveer and Alia keep up to their reputation of exploring performances beyond the norm and one cannot wait to see their magic unfold before us, once again. Through the rushes of the video, we get to see prominent faces from the underground hip-hop scene of Mumbai mark their presence in the film, namely Emiway, Dee MC, Minta and Kaam Bhari. The star cast also includes Kalki Koechlin, Vijay Verma, Sidhant Chaturvedi and Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles.What makes the release of 'Gully Boy', much anticipated is that it has taken the vision of a woman to bring forth the story of Mumbai's under-ground, hip-hop scene, a space largely dominated by men.
