Good Newwz to re-release in cinemas across Dubai from June 11

With COVID 19 affecting lives worldwide, life had come to a standstill in Dubai with cinema lovers missing out on the joy of watching their favourite movies outdoors.Now with the UAE all set to open shop following a two-month hiatus, Zee Studios International alongwith Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films have announced the re-release of 'Good Newwz' starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh for movie-buffs, across Dubai.This comes as a huge respite for many amidst the widespread gloom by the ongoing pandemic. No wonder, even the key players associated with the film are elated with this decision. Leading man Akshay Kumar said, "Dubai has always given so much love to my films. The re-release of Good Newwz is special, especially during such times. I hope it manages to entertain the audience once again" Apoorva Mehta, CEO and Producer at Dharma Productions adds, 'For long, theatrical releases every week had been the reason for joy and celebrations for moviegoers and the film industries worldwide. Going through these unprecedented times, the possibility of theatre releases seemed like a distant dream. I am certain that Good Newwz will bring the right dose of entertainment on the big screen and hopeful respite for the people in Dubai.'The film had earlier released worldwide on December 27, 2019 and it went on to do a net business of over 200 crores at the box office.
