Director-filmmaker Karan Johar is not new to backlashes against his films by political parties. He faced a similar outrage during his films, 'Wake Up Sid' over the usage of the word 'Bombay' and 'My Name is Khan' for Shah Rukh Khan favouring inclusion of Pakistani cricketers in T-20 matches. But ever since the Uri attacks have made news, political parties have come hard on him to disassociate himself from Pakistani artistes. His latest release, 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' is in a tight spot and may not see release unless he reshoots the scenes starring Fawad Khan with an Indian actor.Apparently party workers of the concerned political parties staged protests outside his office and residence. Inspite of the police managing to dismantle the situation, Fawad has apparently left India to help in easing the tension.'ADHM' also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in lead roles and is slated for a Diwali release.
