With the ongoing tussle with the Censor Board, things seem to be getting uglier for 'Udta Punjab'.As if the Censor Board ordering as much as 90 cuts in the movie and also requesting that the word Punjab is removed from the title was not enough, there seems to be a tiff surfacing between co-producers Phantom and Balaji Motion Pictures.Apparently, Balaji is willing to give into the Board's demands as they do not want the film to be delayed. Furthermore, if the release date does get pushed, they would have to invest at least 4-5 crores on the promotional campaigns which they are not willing to do.On the contrary, Phantom is not willing to succumb to any pressure whatsoever and would want to release the film without any cuts. Co-producer Anurag Kashyap who has lambasted the Board for its absurd decision has sought the intervention of the High Court and the PM in the regard. We'll have to wait and see what happens next.
