Alia Bhatt to team up with Bareilly Ki Barfi director for a film

Alia Bhatt, following the success of 'Raazi', is the toast of tinseltown. Having worked with top women directors such as Gauri Shinde, Meghna Gulzar and Zoya Akhtar, Bhatt is all set to team up with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari of 'Nil Battey Sannata' and 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' fame, for a film.The two met during the filming of 'Bareilly', and we now learn that Alia will be playing a singer. From the gossip mills running abuzz, it is rumoured that the story is centered on Alia's rise to stardom as a singer. Earlier the actress has also sung for other films such as 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania', 'Udta Punjab' and 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania'.Bhatt's other projects for 2019 include Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' and Abhishek Varman's 'Kalank'.
