Alia Bhatt partners with journalist Faye D’Souza to amplify COVID 19 related information

Actress Alia Bhatt, who recently recovered from COVID 19 herself, earlier in March, took to social media on Monday afternoon to announce her association with acclaimed journalist Faye D'Souza to help in raising awareness and amplifying relevant information on COVID 19 resources.Alia, who was holidaying in Maldives with rumoured beau Ranbir Kapoor, returned to Mumbai on Sunday afternoon and immediately volunteered to help in raising awareness through the help of her massive social media following.The 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' star has come forward to extend her support after leading B-town ladies have been pro-actively volunteering in amplifying information on beds, medication and the availability of oxygen cylinders across Indian metros through their social media channels with India remaining the worst-hit country following the second wave of the global pandemic.Actresses who have been using their social media presence to create awareness include Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sonakshi Sinha, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Bhumi Pednekar, Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Sanon, Sanya Malhotra, Dia Mirza, Richa Chadha, Swara Bhasker, Sayani Gupta, Maanvi Gagroo and Anupriya Goenka.
