Requesting a change in the way media reports about the success of a film, actress Kriti Sanon has strongly expressed that actresses are not credited for the success of their films, in the manner their male co-stars are.In an interview to RJ Harshit and RJ Pulkit at Radio City Mumbai, the actress said that, 'I don't know if it is out of sheer laziness, but actresses are not given equal credits for the success of their films. If a film is based majorly upon a male character, then it is understood. With reviewers too, an entire paragraph will be dedicated to appreciating the actor's performance but barely a line is written about the actress. Sometimes, the feedback for the actress is even skipped. Whether it is good or bad, I'd like to know an opinion about my work.'In her upcoming film, 'Arjun Patiala', Kriti plays Ritu, a local journalist. The film also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Sharma and is expected to hit theatres on July 26th, 2019. The actress also turns a year older on July 27th.
